Challenge

Project goals

The challenge was turning a large body of Islamic material across several formats into an experience where visitors can quickly reach the right lesson, fatwa, or broadcast without losing the scholarly structure of the content.

  • Make lessons, sermons, and fatwas reachable from the first screen.
  • Support an audience browsing across different languages and regional contexts in East Africa.
  • Present radio, live broadcast, and library sections in a clear, scalable structure.

UI decisions

Navigation above content

The main navigation places scholarly sections, broadcast areas, and donation access clearly before visitors enter content lists.

Scannable content zones

Lists and clear content blocks were used for audio materials and scholars so visitors can scan choices quickly.

Tools and stack

Build process

01

Content classification

The experience was organized around core content types such as lessons, lectures, fatwas, sermons, and radio so visitors do not depend on search alone.

02

Fast access interface

Navigation, active sections, and recent material lists were emphasized so users can reach the needed content in fewer steps.

03

Prepared for growth and maintenance

The project was treated as a scalable platform because scholarly content changes continuously and needs long-term organization.
